MAC Lipstick: Impassioned

Vandaag geen nail art design, maar een lippenstift swatch! ”Impassioned” is een mooie knalroze kleur die er op elke foto weer anders uitziet, maar geloof mij: hij is heel erg roze! Wauw!
What, no nail art design today? No 🙂 But I do have a very beautiful MAC lipstick I want to show you guys! ”Impassioned” is a bright fuchsia pink. I had a bit of a hard time capturing the true colour in photos because it’s so bright! Anyway, let’s take a look at this gorgeous lipstick!

”Impassioned” is een amplified creme, dat betekend dat deze lippenstift een creamy finish heeft en een mooie dekking. Ik draag tegenwoordig onder elke lippenstift de Prep + Prime lip base van MAC zodat de lippenstift langer mooi blijft zitten. Deze lip base is wel prijzig (18 euro dacht ik), maar het is zeker de moeite waard. Het is een hydraterende base wat ik erg fijn vind, aangezien mijn lippen snel droog worden als ik veel lippenstift draag.
”Impassioned” is an amplified creme, which means this lipstick is smooth, creamy and easy to apply. And I love the coverage, it’s so bright! I always apply Prep + Prime lip base by MAC on my lips before I apply lipstick. It keeps the lips hydrated and makes the lipcolour last longer. This lip base isn’t very cheap, but it is definitely worth the money!

Deze lippenstift blijft zo’n 4 uur op mijn lippen zitten, maar als je tussendoor veel eet dan is het wel nodig om je lippen weer even bij te werken. Creamy lippenstiften blijven minder lang zitten dan een lippenstift met een matte finish, dat is een klein nadeeltje van een creamy finish.
The staying power of this lipstick is 4 hours. The creamy texture of this lipstick is very pretty but doesn’t stay for long, so you will need to reapply. Lipsticks with a matte finish last longer but this finish tends to dry out the lips.
