McDonald’s Nail Art

Hoi allemaal! Vandaag heb ik een McDonald’s design voor jullie, jummie! De basiskleur is nagellak en de rest heb ik met acrylverf gedaan (geen stickers dus!). Wil je weten hoe? Lees dan snel verder!

Hi everyone! Today I’m going to show you a delicious McDonald’s design, yummy! The base colour is nail polish, and the rest is made with acrylic paint (no, these aren’t stickers!). Want to know how I did this? Just keep reading!
Allereerst zal ik even vertellen hoe je in hemelsnaam zo klein en precies kunt tekenen op je nagels! Het is inderdaad een kwestie van veel geduld, maar een goede penseel is ook wel erg handig. De penselen die je op internet kunt kopen zijn eigenlijk veel te dik voor zulke kleine details, maar dunnere penselen zijn nauwelijks te vinden. Ik heb daarom een set van 3 nail art penselen gekocht, waarvan ik er 1 zelf heb bijgeknipt. Knip net zo lang tot er nog maar een paar haartjes op je penseel zitten. Knip wel de haartjes aan de buitenste rand weg, zodat de overgebleven haren netjes in het midden blijven zitten. Hoe minder haartjes, hoe kleiner je de details zullen worden die je op je nagels kunt tekenen. En that’s it! Best wel simpel toch?
TIP: je kunt ook een gewone kwast in de winkel kopen en die bijknippen, het hoeft niet speciaal een nail art penseel te zijn. Zorg er wel voor dat je een kwast koopt met zachte haren!

First I’m going to tell you guys how to create such small details on your nails! You will need a lot of patience and, the most important thing, a good nail art brush. Most nail art brushes are too thick for these tiny nail art designs, but luckily there’s an easy solution for this problem. I bought a set of three nail art brushes, and I decided to use 1 of these brushes for tiny details. Use a pair of (small) scissors and cut the outer bristles of the brush away until the brush is thin enough for you. And that’s it! Simple, right?
TIP: you don’t need to use a special nail art brush to create nail art designs, you can also buy a regular brush in a store and cut a few bristles away. Just make sure you buy a brush with soft bristles!
