It’s time to show you the very first nailbox from Nailbox.nl named ‘Nice to meet you!’ This is a Dutch nailbox, but you should definitely read this article if you’re curious to find out which nail products are inside! I’ve made a lot of swatches and reviews for you, so let’s take a closer look at this mysterious nailbox!


Alleen de box al vond ik erg leuk, compleet met roze strikje en een persoonlijk briefje erbij. Maar het gaat natuurlijk om de inhoud van de box, dus ik hou jullie niet langer in spanning 🙂 Hier zijn alle producten op een rijtje met alle swatches erbij!

The nailbox is so cute, with a pink bow and a personal letter inside. But I didn’t made this article to talk about the box, but about the nail products inside. So here are the products and swatches!

China Glaze – Pondering

Het allereerste product dat ik in de nailbox vond, was deze prachtige nagellak van China Glaze met de naam Pondering. Dit is een paarse duochrome nagellak die verandert van kleur wanneer je je handen beweegt. De dekking is ook erg goed, op de foto hieronder draag ik twee laagjes.

The first product is a gorgeous China Glaze nail polish with the name Pondering. This is a beautiful purple duochrome nail polish switches from purple to green and pink when you move your fingers. I’m wearing two coats in the photo below.

Vivien Kondor – Mint Green

Ik had nog nooit van dit merk gehoord, en vraag mij niet waarom maar ik moest gelijk aan Lord Of The Rings denken haha! Deze nagellak heeft de naam Mint Green, en hij dekt perfect met twee lagen. Ik vind deze kleur eigenlijk wat te donker voor de naam mint green, maar het is een mooie kleur die je zeker in de herfst vaak kunt dragen!

I’ve never heard of this brand before, don’t ask me why but I immediately thought of Lord Of The Rings haha! The name of this nail polish is Mint Green, and you’ll need two coats for a perfect look. It’s a beautiful autumn shade, but I personally think this is not a mint green polish. It’s a little bit darker, but still very pretty.

Bourjois – Chair et tendre

Chair et tendre is een zachtroze/beige nagellak. Ik had verwacht dat hij erg transparant zou zijn, maar ik was echt heel erg verbaasd toen ik heb aanbracht. Eigenlijk is één laag al voldoende, op de foto hieronder draag ik twee lagen voor 100% dekking.

Chair et tendre is a soft pink/beige nail polish. I thought this colour would be very sheer, but it’s super opaque! One coat is enough for a good manicure, I used two coats in the picture below (just to be sure 😉 ).


La Femme – Nail Glitters

In de Nailbox zijn naast nagellakjes ook nail art producten te vinden. Een van deze producten zijn de nail glitters van La Femme. Je kan hier echt zo veel leuke designs mee maken, hieronder heb ik op elke nagel iets anders gedaan om jullie alvast een paar ideeën te geven.

You can also find other nail art products in this Nailbox. One of these products are the nail glitters from La Femme. You can create so many fun designs with these glitters, I made a different design on each nail in the picture below to give you a few ideas.

Sally Hansen – Nailgrowth Miracle Serum

De Nailgrowth Miracle Serum van Sally Hansen is echt een topproduct. Het is geen nagellak, maar een soort gel om je nagels en nagelriemen mee te verzorgen. Het flesje wordt geleverd met een handige pipet, zodat je niet te veel van het product op je nagels aanbrengt. Bij alle swatches die je hierboven kunt vinden, heb ik eerst deze miracle serum aangebracht. Ik merk dat het echt werkt, je nagelriemen zien er in ieder geval een stuk verzorger uit! Om te kunnen bepalen of mijn nagels er ook daadwerkelijk sterker van worden, moet ik het product nog wat langer gebruiken.

The Nailgrowth Miracle Serum from Sally Hansen is something you definitely need if you love to treat your nails and cuticles. This is not a nail polish or something oily, but a gel. I used this serum in all the swatches you can find in this article, and it sure works if you would like to have softer cuticles. This gel also strenghtens your nails, but I haven’t tried this product long enough to find out if my nails are actually stronger now.

Bundle Monster – Stamping Plate 218

Aan de stamping fans is ook gedacht tijdens het samenstellen van de nailbox. In de box zit namelijk een stamping plate van het merk Bundle Monster met printjes om zelf mooie French tips te creëren. Ik heb zelf geen stempel set, dus ik kan deze stempels momenteel niet voor jullie testen (sorry!). Maar het stempelen spreekt voor zich: breng een dekkende nagellak aan over de gewenste afbeelding, haal het teveel aan nagellak weg met een schraper en met een stempel breng je de afbeelding aan op je nagels.

You can also find a stamping plate in this nailbox! This is a stamping plate from Bundle Monster with beautiful prints to create French tips. I don’t have a stamping set, so I can’t try this plate for you guys (sorry!). But stamping isn’t difficult at all: apply nail polish on an image on the plate, remove the excessive nail polish with a scraper and pick up the image with a stamp. Stamp the image on your nail and that’s it!


The Body Shop – Rainforest Shine Shampoo

Ik hoor je denken: ”Huh, shampoo? Dit heeft helemaal niks met nail art te maken!” Nee, dat klopt! Voor de afwisseling zit er in elke nailbox ook een make-up of verzorgingsproduct. Ik heb deze shampoo nog niet getest, voor mijn geverfde haar gebruik ik momenteel een speciale shampoo. Maar ik ben toch erg nieuwsgierig, dus binnenkort wissel ik maar een keertje met deze shampoo!

Right now you’re probably thinking something like this: ”Huh, shampoo? I thought this was a nailbox!” And you’re completely right! Nailbox.nl decided to add a make-up or beautyproduct to each nailbox, and I like this idea. I haven’t tried this shampoo yet because I use a special shampoo for my coloured hair. But I’m really curious, so I’m going to test this shampoo very soon!
