Unboxing | Nailbox ‘Touch of Pink’

Hey allemaal! Het is alweer tijd voor de tweede nailbox van Nailbox.nl, en het thema van deze maand is ‘Touch of Pink’. Hi guys! Today I’m going to show you the second nailbox from Nailbox.nl, and this month’s theme is ‘Touch of Pink’. This nailbox and the beautiful pink nail polish inside the box are dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Let’s take a closer look at this mysterious nailbox!


Sally Hansen – 620 Velveteen
Het eerste product dat ik in de nailbox vond, was deze zwarte texture nagellak van Sally Hansen. Ik had echt verwacht dat deze nagellak een soort zand effect zou hebben, maar het effect is juist heel subtiel. Dit is goed te zien op de tweede foto. De nagellak dekt al aardig goed met slechts 1 laag, maar 2 lagen vond ik persoonlijk net wat mooier staan.

The first product is a black textured nail polish from Sally Hansen. I thought that this nail polish would have a sand effect, but this textured polish is very subtile and pretty! I used two coats in the pictures below, but one coat looks pretty good, too.

Ciaté London – Oil Slick

Het tweede lakje (dat ik eigenlijk meteen zag maar ik probeerde mij in te houden 😛 ) is van mijn favoriete merk, Ciaté London! Oil Slick is een prachtige metallic nagellak met een goud/groen multi chrome effect. Wauw, wat is ie mooi! Je hebt wel meerdere lagen nodig voordat deze nagellak helemaal dekkend is. Ik draag drie lagen op onderstaande foto.

The second nail polish (which I saw immediately when I opened the nailbox, but I tried to act cool 😛 ) is from my favorite nail polish brand, Ciaté London! Oil Slick is a gorgeous metallic nail polish with a gold/green multi chrome effect. Wow, wow, wow! This polish is a little bit sheer, I used three coats for good coverage in the picture below.

Appeal4 – Pinky Pine
Wet N Wild – 3D nail art glitter

Deze twee producten, die ik in de nailbox vond, besloot ik te combineren in een nail art design. Omdat er een subtiele shimmer in deze nagellak zit, vond ik de zilveren glitters er perfect bij passen. Appeal4 is een merk dat niet op dieren test, echt een pluspunt! De nagellak Pinky Pine is een barbieroze van kleur, en met twee dikke lagen is de dekking precies goed. De glitters van Wet N Wild zijn zelfklevend, maar ik heb voor de zekerheid ook eerst een top coat over mijn nagels aangebracht.

I combined the next two products to create a nail art design. Pinky Pine is a barbie pink nail polish with a pretty shimmer, and you will need two thick coats for a good coverage. Appeal4 is against animal testing, which is amazing!
To finish this manicure, I decided to use the Wet N Wild glitter. You don’t need nail glue or a top coat to stick the glitter on your nails, but I used a clear top coat anyway to make sure the glitter would stay on my nails for a while.


Dotting tools

Wat ik ook in de nailbox vond, was deze handige set met dotting tools! Met deze dotting tools in verschillende formaten kun je zo veel leuke nail art designs maken. Ik heb bijvoorbeeld een van de tools gebruikt om de glitters op te pakken die ik gebruikt heb in de manicure die hierboven staat. Ook heb ik de kleinste dotting tool gebruikt (de roze) om de stippen te maken op mijn ”Ciaté London – Oil Slick” manicure die ook in dit artikel staat. Deze tools zijn echt super handig, en als je van nail art houdt dan kom je echt zo veel verder met deze producten!

I also found this dotting tool set inside the nailbox! You can make so many fun nail art designs with these dotting tools in different sizes. I used one of these dotting tools to stick the glitter on my nails, and I also used the smallest dotting tool (the pink one) to create the dots on my ”Ciaté London – Oil Slick” manicure. If you love nail art, you definitely need these dotting tools!
Yves Rocher – SOS Clear Hands

Mooie nagels en vieze handen gaan natuurlijk niet samen! Deze schattige tube van Yves Rocher bevat handgel waar je je handen mee schoon kunt maken, en dat zonder water en zeep. Doordat de tube niet al te groot is, kun je hem makkelijk in je hand- of schooltas meenemen. De handgel is organisch en vrij van parabenen. Net als elke antibacteriele zeep ruikt ook deze versie niet echt lekker, maar je kunt ook weer niet alles hebben he! Ik stop hem in ieder geval in mijn tas, zoiets is altijd handig om bij je te hebben wanneer je niet thuis bent!

You can’t have dirty hands when your nails look fabulous! But thanks to this antibacterial soap from Yves Rocher, you can have clean hands everywhere! You won’t need water or soap, and this cute little package fits in almost every purse or bag. The soap is organic and paraben free. Just like every antibacterial soap, this version smells kinda weird. But this is a great product to use if you want to clean your hands while you’re not at home!
The Body Shop – Rainforest Shine Conditioner

In de eerste nailbox zagen we al een shampoo van The Body Shop, en nu is de collectie compleet met de conditioner erbij 🙂 Deze conditioner is voor normaal en droog haar, en ruikt ook nog eens lekker!  Dit product draagt ook het eco-consious label en er zitten fair trade ingrediénten in. Helemaal top!

In the very first nailbox, I found a shampoo from The Body Shop. And this month there’s a conditioner inside the box 🙂 The conditioner is for normal to dry hair, and it smells good too! This product has an eco-consious label and it contains fair trade ingrediénts. Love it!
