Nutella Nail Art

Vandaag heb ik een leuk Nutella design voor jullie gemaakt met nagellak en acrylverf. In mijn vorige design (mijn Dexter’s Laboratory mani) heb ik voor het eerst acrylverf gebruikt voor de kleine tekeningetjes en het werkt echt veel fijner dan nagellak. Acrylverf dekt veel beter en foutjes haal je zo weer weg met wat water. Een top coat is dus wel belangrijk als je design af is, anders was je het zo weer weg! Terug naar het Nutella design, kijken jullie mee?

Today I made a fun Nutella design with nail polish and acrylic paint. I used acrylic paint for the first time in my previous design (my Dexter’s Laboratory mani), and it’s much easier to paint different designs and details on your nails with acrylic paint! The colours are vibrant and if you make a mistake on your nails you simply use some water to wipe it off. Make sure to add a top coat once you are done so you don’t wash the acrylic paint off by accident. Anyway, let’s get back to today’s Nutella design!    
Het wordt echt steeds sneller donker buiten, en terwijl ik bezig was met mijn nagels ging de zon al weer onder (het was nog niet eens 4 uur ’s middags!). Omdat ik mijn foto’s altijd buiten met daglicht maak moest ik snel werken en heb ik niet van elke nagel stap voor stap foto’s gemaakt. De Nutella accent nagel leek mij de lastigste nagel om na te maken, dus daar heb ik wel snel wat foto’s van gemaakt. Hopelijk is het duidelijk voor jullie!

I always take my nail art pictures outside in daylight, but today it was getting dark really quick so I had to work really fast! So I couldn’t make step by step tutorials for every nail anymore (sorry!). I thought that the Nutella accent nail would be the hardest nail to recreate, so I quickly tried to take a few step by step pictures for this nail. 

♥ Stap 1: Breng een base coat aan en lak je nagels lichtblauw. Ik heb twee lagen ”Ferris Wheel” van Ciaté London gebruikt.
♥ Stap 2: Teken met donkerbruine acrylverf of nagellak de pot Nutella op je nagel.
♥ Stap 3: Met witte acrylverf of nagellak teken je de witte label in het midden van de pot Nutella.
♥ Stap 4: Met dezelfde witte acrylverf/nagellak teken je ook een deksel.
♥ Stap 5: Op de label komt ”Nutella” te staan in het zwart en rood. Dit gaat het beste met een heel dun kwastje of een striper. Ten slotte omlijn je de pot Nutella met zwarte acrylverf of nagellak en breng je een top coat aan.

♥ Step 1: Apply  a base coat and paint your nails light blue. I used Ciaté London ”Ferris Wheel” (two coats).
♥ Step 2: Use dark brown acrylic paint or nail polish to paint the Nutella jar on your nail. 
♥ Step 3: Use white acrylic paint or nail polish to paint a label on the Nutella jar.
♥ Step 4: Paint a cap on the jar with the same white acrylic paint/nail polish.
♥ Step 5: Write ”Nutella” on the label with black and red acrylic paint/nail polish with a very thin nail art brush or a striper. Outline the Nutella jar with black acrylic paint or nail polish and finish with a top coat.
